CLOSE UP++ Hyundai Inokom Santa Fe 2.2 CRDI 6 speed auto.

In this Blog entry, I'm reviewing a Hyundai Inokom Santa Fe 2.2CRDI. This is a "Bang for the Buck" Part time 4x4 Diesel 7 seater SUV. The Santa Fe was launched back in 2007 while the facelift (as featured here) was launched in KLIMS (KL International Motor Show) 2010. Picture below:

The facelifted Santa Fe's mated with 6 speed Automatic. Check out the Max Power and torque. 192hp@3800rpm and a WHOOPING 442Nm@1800rpm Torque. This car comes standard with G-force. 0-100km/h in 9.8secs and top speed of 190km/h. It also comes standard with NAPPA Leather, Elec glass sunroof, Integrated Multimedia GPS, Climate Control etc... As for fuel consumption, it fetches a respectable 8.4l/100km average.

MY RATING: 8.5/10.

Price for High Spec: RM172,000 OTR Private Registration which is a bargain. Used prices are as follows:

Kia On Tour Test Drive 2011 Finale @ Curve

I, Jeff Lim went to "Kia On Tour Test Drive 2011 Finale @ The Curve, PJ twice.  Once back in Wednesday (1st day) and the other Today 6.30pm.  It's Jam Packed with people on my 2nd visit. 

The centre of Attention goes to Kia Sportage.  Heard from the SA the waiting list stretched to 4-and-a-half month (ie. End Feb) due to lack of AP as it's CBU from Korea.

Initially, I wanted to test drive the Kia Sorento.  But 2 1/2 hours wait on a Weekday (Wednesday) turned me off.  Second choice, Naza Forte 2.0 were unavailable for test drive.  Only 1.6 model available for test drive which I'm not interested.

I was "forced" to logged on my facebook page to "Like" "Kia Malaysia fan page" via one of the 2 Ipads provided.  In return, I was given a free Kia Pen and a Kia key chain. (see photos below).

There were 3 hot chicks there, but I have no guts to take photos with them.  For each Test Drive, you stand a chance to win the "Grand Prize" of a new Naza Forte 1.6EX worth RM75,800.  The winner is "Mohd Ismail" as announced at 8.15pm via Mix FM which were there reporting "Live".  DJ Ryan (host), JD and Reefa were there to cover the roadshow from 6pm to 10pm(?).
