Expensive cars look like crap, and iconic companies like Bentley, Maserati, BMW, and even Ferrari have been making some of the ugliest.
Look at these messes:
Bentley Continental |
Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale |
BMW X6 M |
Ferrari FF |
Now, to be fair, Bentley is doing a fabulous job appealing to football players, Maseratis have been ugly for quite some time, BMW made the 1 Series M, and therefore, should be forgiven for all of the stupid stuff they've done lately, and Ferrari's badge is so established and desirable that you could put in on a pair of dirty socks and people would buy it.
So, if you want a good looking car, where do you turn? Well, these days, the best looking cars are actually the ones you'll find in your neighbor's garage, or in the Target parking lot- the ones normal people buy.
Take a look at these 2012 models:
Chevrolet Malibu |
Fiat 500C |
Mazda 2 |
Kia Rio5 |
See? Not bad. Ten years ago, reasonably priced cars all looked awful. Now, they're looking pretty darn good.
